Nova
Nova is a spaced-themed platformer about an astronaut who must repair the malfunctioning systems in their space shuttle. To ensure the safe arrival of their passengers and crew, players must toggle gravity on and off in order to navigate platforms and collect tools. Each level contains unique challenges as players contend with obstacles like exposed wires, scalding steam vents, scorching heat lamps and more.
This was the first video game I ever worked on and was created in collaboration with Carolyn Qu and Sydney Wang. I learned a lot of lessons about design and development but unfortunately Nova is unplayable in its current state. Instead, check out the assets I created for this celestial adventure!
